Receding Head

The receding head series of APMC’s presses provides consistent and efficient cuts throughout every step of production. This series features all of the advantages gained from a full head die cutting machine with the addition of increased visibility of the machine bed. Because the cutting head actually retracts to the back of the machine, it facilitates larger sheets and roll form material to be processed with improved visibility, ease, and speed of operation. The die cutting machines offered through APMC range from a number of tonnages and bed sizes to suit our customer’s specifications. This series of die cutting machines range in tonnage from 30 tons to 100 tons and respectively range in bed sizes from (40″)D x (80″)W, the cutting stroke for Receding Head machines ranges from 4.3″ to 9.8″.
